Breaking News: Manchester United's Martin Ødegaard is heading to La Liga with Real Madrid.

Manchester United midfielder Martin Ødegaard has agreed a move to Real Madrid, according to reports in Spain.

The 21-year-old Norwegian joined the Premier League club from Arsenal in January last year and has made 17 appearances for them so far this season.

He scored his first goal for United against Crystal Palace earlier this month, but struggled for regular game time under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Real Madrid have been keen on signing Ødegaard for some time, and the player himself had expressed interest in moving to the Spanish capital.

In a statement released by Real Madrid,Campeonato Brasileiro Action they said: "We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with Manchester United regarding the transfer of Martin Ødegaard."

"We are very excited about the opportunity to work with him at Real Madrid, where he will continue to develop his career."
